Annual Reports
An annual financial report is an evaluation prepared by a company at the end of the reporting year. The reporting year can be either a calendar year of a fiscal year. An annual report basically measures a corporation's financial revenue. By law, any corporation that holds an Annual General Meeting for stockholders or security holders is required to provide an annual report. Generally, the annual financial report consists of the company's Financial Statements including footnotes, supplementary schedules, Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations, Audit Report, President's Letter, and other explanatory information (marketing and research efforts).
The annual report is read by stockholders, potential investors, employees, regulatory bodies, creditors, and other interested financial statement users and is usually presented in a colorful, high gloss publication.
