Yokomi Elementary students welcomed back to school by 9-foot T-Rex

Fresno, CA - September 30, 2006:

A series of enormous, visually stunning wallpaper panels outlining major scientific events in history is now on display at Yokomi Elementary School in downtown Fresno.

The wallpaper is compromised of three separate panels measuring 9 feet tall and 75 feet long. It features a timeline of vibrant images and educational text pertaining to such events as the dawn of time, the age of dinosaurs (which includes the imposing T-Rex), Renaissance discoveries, genetics, aviation, technology, and more. The project was designed in accordance with California Education Standards and will serve as a constant reminder to students about the wonders of science. Yokomi Elementary is a Fresno Unified School District designated Magnet School for science.

The wallpaper was created by e:Design Inc., a local marketing firm specializing in serving the life sciences industry. It is the only agency of its kind in the Fresno area.
